I finished building my house last night and came to many of the same conclusions. The level of detail is astonishing and the layout of the house fits for the size of the set. If TLG was to make one with all the rooms the price tag would be astronomical.

It's a little tight round the end of the bed but the chair does just about fit under the desk. You can see the Radioactive Man comic which is included on the desk below, and that looks great in my opinion, as do the poster and pinboard on the wall. There was also a guest house on the property that was used by Simpson family friend, Kato Kaelin, at the time of the murders. As of 2022, OJ Simpson was living at the 5,037 square foot home owned by a friend, James Barnett, in Summerlin, Las Vegas.

The home may best be described as a LEGO fanatic's dream. From the living room to the bathrooms and even the basement, the colorful plastic bricks can be found all throughout the residence. A simple painting of a boat hangs on the wall above the living room couch. Marge says she painted it for Homer in "The Trouble with Trillions".

All that is left for me to do is to thank Huw for his fantastic photos and to you for reading. Now that we have one Simpsons set, I am in desperate need of more... The only thing I can really think to criticise is the way the medium nougat parts of the chimney make a random pattern on the wall of Homer and Marge's room wall. Also, it would have been nice if the garage door worked like a real one so the door was inside the garage when opened but doing that in LEGO, at this scale, obviously isn't practical.
I'm sure someone will build one exactly like it is in the cartoon for all to see soon enough. I was a bit miffed at some piece selections though - like using two 1x4 tan tiles instead of one 1x8. There are a few of these head scratches and you notice them during the build.

The stairs leading to the second floor were slightly steeper than normal. The downstairs floor was poured and painted concrete rather than hardwood or carpet, the better to mimic the show's flat colors. The basement always includes a washing machine, a clothes dryer, and, after the episode "Blood Feud", a large Olmec statue of a head which was a present from Mr. Burns given to Bart in that episode. Bart hints in one episode that the basement has a problem with radon gas, then lets a homeless man sleep there in "The Day the Violence Died". It is revealed in the episode "Father Knows Worst" that there is a sauna behind the water heater that was covered up by paint and dust, but which Marge accidentally found.
These days, the house boasts a fresh coat of white paint with a black trim along the side. A small, but sunny front porch juts out into a modest front yard. LaVergne declined to disclose the estimated value and said he had just begun an inventory.

The A+ tile which comes with her is very suitable, and would be even better if we had a fridge downstairs to put it on. Like Bart, I am not quite sold on the colour of her dress, as it should be slightly more orange in shade, however, this is the closest approximation with the current colour pallet so the red design is acceptable. The last section of the build is the removable upstairs section that contains Bart's bedroom, part of Lisa's room, and the landing.

The will, unlike the trust — which has not been made public — does not detail Simpson’s assets or his wishes for any possessions left behind. The home features 5-bedrooms and 6-bathrooms as well as a swimming pool and private putting green. OJ often filmed videos at the home as well as on the golf course that’s only a stone’s throw away from the property.
Designed to resemble an English cottage, the original home boasted a spacious lagoon-style pool and lots of lush greenery that provided the estate privacy. Known as the OJ Simpson Rockingham House, aka the infamous home where OJ ended his televised police chase following the murders, this 6,000 square foot home on Rockingham Ave is no more. Touches of the theming can be found in nearly every corner of the home, even below ground. The walls of each basement room are painted in LEGO colors. To get the colors just right, Jameson said when buying paint, he brought LEGO pieces to the hardware store to color match.
Much of the interior has been updated drastically since OJ left the home, especially in the kitchen. The team's goal was to be 90 percent normal, with occasional lapses into cartoon continuity. Door frames were widened and lengthened to accommodate Marge's hair and Homer's girth.
